According to rumors, the Google Pixel is going to be the spiritual successor to the Nexus line. As such, its purpose would be to show off the latest version of Android in its stock form, namely Android 7.0 Nougat. The phone is expected to be made of plastic and glass. Hardware specs could include a mighty fast Snapdragon SoC, plenty of RAM, a decent amoung of storage, and a generous battery. While the Pixel will bear the Google brand, it is rumored to be manufactured by HTC.
